Elliso Carlien is a second-year undergraduate student from Anderson, South Carolina, pursuing a BS in Nursing and a BA in Psychology. Her academic and research interests focus on child and adolescent mental health, trauma-informed care, and reducing stigma while advocating for marginalized communities. Outside of her academic work, she enjoys crocheting, reading, cooking, and mountain biking.

Collin Taylor

Hello, my name is Collin Taylor and I am from Spartanburg, South Carolina. I currently attend the University of South Carolina as a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. My main research interests are adolescent and child mental health, therapeutic interventions, and alternative therapies like music therapy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, and watching professional wrestling.

Emily Johnson

Clinical Psychologist

Emily Johnson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in early childhood development. Her work at the InterBeing Lab focuses on providing clinical insights and assisting with developmental assessments. Emily’s role is to bridge the gap between research and practical applications, working directly with families to provide feedback and resources. With a strong background in early intervention, Emily helps interpret research findings for caregivers and clinicians, emphasizing real-world solutions for social development challenges. Emily also coordinates with local healthcare providers to ensure findings are shared with the broader community. Her empathetic and supportive approach makes her a trusted resource for families participating in lab studies.
